The iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors 2nd Season

The anime version of The iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors has been renewed for a second season, following the popularity of the first, which aired in April 2024. Season 2 aired on October 4, 2024, and continues the narrative of the idol agency 283 Production, following a group of distinct idols on their path to stardom. The season, directed by Mankyū and produced by Polygon Pictures, follows the idols’ professional and personal development through high-stakes performances and emotional events.

Prior to its television premiere, the second season was presented in Japan as a trilogy of theatrical pictures. The screenings began in July and lasted until early October, with events like live appearances and lectures from the actors and crew.​​
