On his 16th birthday, Herari Momochi receives a letter that indicates that he has inherited a mansion called “Momochi House “. Having been raised in an orphanage, this mansion is the only thing left of its true family, so Herari does not take into account the rumors that it can be persecuted. Upon entering him, he meets Aoi Nanamori and his teammates, Ise and Yukari, who seem to be squatted in their new home. Although they warn him to leave the house, Herari promises to be the one who makes them leave.

But soon, it is attacked by Youkai and discovers that the house is in the space between the world of the living and the kingdom of the spirit. Even more surprising, AOI was chosen to be the guardian of the house, a position originally destined for Herari. But this great power came with a horrible price: Aoi can never abandon the mansion, and its existence in the human world has been erased.
