A Condition Called Love

Hotaru Hinaase is a high school student who treasures his family and friends above all. Unable to understand romance, he decides that he will be alive without the experience of falling in love.

While Hotaru spends time in a coffee with her close friend, she witnesses the relentless rupture of a handsome honor student, Hananoi. Finding him in the snow of his way home, he extends his umbrella to him in a gesture of goodness.

The next day, Hananoi appears in the Hotaru classroom, asking him to be his girlfriend. Despite being rejected, Hananoi adheres closely next to Hotaru, performing selfless acts with the hope of please. Hotaru begins to feel emotions that he had never felt before. Believing that these emotions could bloom in love, Hotaru agrees to go out with Hananoi.
