Meiji Gekken: 1874

Year 1874. Shizuma Origasa, once a samurai of Aizu’s domain and now works as a Rickshaw shooter, embarks on a search to locate her missing fiancee, Sumie Kanomata. However, an unexpected turn of the events pushes it to the ranks of the recently established police force, entangling it in the search for a conspiracy with the aim of overthrowing the government.

Simultaneously, the Moriya Yakuza clan welcomes a guest, Kyoushirou Shuragami, a competent swordsman. Within the clan, which is linked to the master mind that orchestra the overthrow of the government, Kyoushirou is strategically positioned for personal gains.

This prepares the scenario for the drama that develops from the destination between Shizuma and Kyoushirou, where ironic meetings and separations wait for Shizuma in the course of his trip.
