Over time, Godzilla-like grotesque monsters known as Kaijuu invaded Japan. To save the lives of people. The government has established an elite military unit called the Defense Force. These cops stake their lives and fight with Kaijuu to protect others. They kill them, and the next day sweepers from Professional Kaijuu Cleaner Corporation come and dispose of their remains. A 32-year-old Kafka Hibino works in this cleaner company and is unhappy with his job. He always wants to be a kaiju fighter, not a cleaner. For this, he tried multiple times to join the Defense Force but failed. Ultimately, he has to join this cleaning company to meet the expenses. The story of Leno Ichikawa makes him remember his childhood dream of being a kaiju fighter. Leno is a young man who recently joined this cleaning corporation and became a friend of Kafka. But fate has a plan to follow their dream. One day, Kafka and Leno are attacked by the parasite Kaiju and get hospitalized. After the second attack, they both get immunity against these creatures and fight with them. This superpower makes them a kaiju fighter. Kafka starts to help people by killing these beasts and decides not to reveal his identity.
